Built in 1908 as the Wool House and Scouring building for a textile mill and converted to a residential community in 2004 the Canal Place 3 building is part of Lowell’s History and is positioned between Lowell’s past and its future. Located inside the Lowell National Historical Park and adjacent to the Lower Pawtucket and Lowell Canals, Canal Place 3 sits on the border between the Hamilton Canal Innovation District and the heart of downtown that is home to restaurants, nightlife, the Tsongas Arena, Boarding House Park, and the longest running Folk Festival in the US.
